Ed Vitug, Food Photographer based in Manila

Currently the Group GM of The Bayleaf boutique hotel properties in the Philippines, Ed’s interest also includes photography, visual design, motion graphics and piano.

Ed worked for the Shangri-la Hotels Group for 16 years in Asia and the Middle East, was the Director of Food & Beverage for two years in Sofitel under the Accor Group and two years also at the InterContinental Hotels Group.

Ed joined The Bayleaf under the Lyceum of the Philippines University chain in October 2010 to introduce the brand as the Research and Teaching Hotel of the university.

Food photography became the natural pathway for Ed given his exposure in food production, styling and menu creation as a top Food & Beverage executive in large scale hotels, boutique and mid-sized hotels. Being certifed by Adobe in Visual Communication also helps in overall production of commercial photography.
